PHOTO CONTEST!
Do you have a keen eye for the beauty of our local heritage and woodlands?

After a decade long hiatus, the BC Forest Discovery Centre’s Amateur Photo Contest of your visit here is back! We are very excited to be opening this competition up to our dedicated visitors and members. For the whole summer of 2026, we will be accepting submissions in three different age categories to win prizes and help us put together a 2027 Calendar and share some of your creativity on our social media. The photos do not have to be new, so be sure to submit any great Halloween Train or Christmas Express photos you might have taken already.

Categories:
– Children (Ages 12 and under)
– Youth (Ages 13–18)
– Adults (Ages 19+)

Why Enter? Winners in each category will receive an Individual Membership for the 2027 Season which will give them unlimited train rides and free access to all of our Spring and Summer events. On top of that, each winner will receive a $50 gift card to spend in the museum gift shop or concession. Finally, selected entries will be featured across our social media platforms and may be chosen for our 2027 Fundraising Calendar, with all proceeds supporting the museum’s preservation efforts.
