We have a wonderful selection of books in our Gift Shop including nature books about scenic Vancouver Island, as well as the animals that make it their home. Local Cim MacDonald’s book includes stunning pictures of Chemanus’ wildlife and plant habitats for only $38.95.
For those with an interest in the logging history of Vancouver Island, Richard Somerset Mackie published two books, Mountain Timber and Island Timber. With historical photographs included on almost every page, these books are an incredible resource to the history of the Comox Logging Company on Vancouver Island. Prices start at $38.95.
For any wine lovers out there, Melissa Priestley’s “Book of Canadian Wines” describes the wine valleys of Canada, history of winemaking in Canada, as well as featured vineyards and bottles. Loaded with information, this book makes a perfect present for wine lovers overseas, or a great way to broaden your own knowledge for $18.95.
